I can kiss anyone I like: Sushmita

Actor Sushmita Sen, who got injured during the shooting of "Zindaggi Rocks", walked to the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu to pray for her upcoming film where she plays a rock star."She prayed for the success of the film and her health," a reliable source told. "She was shooting a song for 'Zindaggi Rocks' with Farah Khan when she fell and sprained her neck. She was bedridden for three weeks. The day she stepped out of home she attended the music launch function of the film and even performed there," added the source.Sushmita's family accompanied her to the temple."Zindaggi Rocks" is a touching modern-day tale about love, passion and sacrifice and revolves around Sushmita and Shiney Ahuja, who plays a doctor. Sushmita, who has often been seen in female-centric films like "Samay" and "Chingaari", was the first choice for the role. "She was the first and the last choice," said Anurradha Prasad who has produced the film.Talking about Shiney, Prasad said: "When I was looking for the male lead, I saw Shiney's "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi". I was very impressed by his work. I feel that Shiney is not only a good actor but a good star as well."Talking about her Zindaggi Rocks experiences, Sush laughs," I went a bit out of control with the head-banging number. Hence, Zindagi rocks - from my neck to my back - it’s all rocking!" Kissing controversies and steamy scenes seem to be hounding her as well. The ‘Chingari’ controversy has not yet died down and her intimate scenes in ‘Karma Cola & Holi’ are already making headlines. “Look, I can kiss whoever and whenever I like. Why make it a national debate over how it sells? What bothers me is the way it was marketed to sell ‘Chingari’. Take HMV and Karma Cola. They have sued the newspapers and I respect them for it," she says. About 'The Expat', she explains, "The film is confirmed and so is the venue (Argentina). I play a Pakistani expat while Richard Gere is a FBI agent. The dates are going haywire. Only Sutapa Das can confirm the dates.” Ask her about the men in her life and she tells, "I believe in commitment. Not in strangling someone based on that commitment." She refuses to talk about Manav, the new man in her life. "Unlike other men in my life, he has asked me for just one thing — he doesn't want to be talked about.

Sushmita Sen awaits Zindaggi Rocks

MUMBAI: Sushmita Sen's Zindaggi Rocks! Having worked on the film with director Tanuja Chandra, Sen is on a high.

Talking about Tanuja Chandra, Sen says, "Tanuja is one of most intelligent filmmakers we have, who likes to project realism through her films even while maintaining the format and idiom of the commercial mainstream Hindi cinema. What I like about her is the fact that she is a very patient teacher who picks up colloquial dialogues, which we tend to use in our day-to-day life. The comfort level I had, as an actor, was very evident when I worked with her in Zindaggi Rocks
